This is a lovely vintage 40s 1940s cold rayon dress with a tropical floral print.

The fabric is a medium weight woven cold rayon with a very smooth hand (feel), with an overall print of hibiscus flowers in shades of pink and white accented with lavender and green ribbon print as pictured.

The bodice features a small rolled shawl collar and vertical front darts.

Does up the center front from neckline to bottom hem with 10 blue lucite buttons.

Above the elbow length sleeves. Unlined. No pockets.

Defined waist seam with five panel skirt.

I'm 5'4" and the skirt comes to the bottom of my calf. It may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height.

DESIGNER LABEL: No labels. Appears to be handmade by a skilled seamstress.

CONDITION: Very Good. There are no odors, snags, picks, fading, discoloration, stains, or rips. The colors are very clear and vibrant and the navy blue shows no signs of fading.

SIZING: No size tags are present. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this dress would best fit a modern loose Medium to smallish Large.

For a perfect fit, please compare the measurements of this dress to a dress already in your wardrobe which fits you well.

Please note the dress is clipped to fit my size Medium mannequin and will fall much better on the proper sized body.
