Beautiful 1940s medium weight woven black rayon dress accented with gathered front bust pockets as pictured.

I have lightened a photo to show you details - the color is a rich deep black.

The bodice features front and back vertical darts for a flattering fit, 40s shoulder pads, and a vee neckline with oversized gathered novelty front bust pockets. Three quarter length sleeves with small darts at the elbows. The front and back of the skirt are lightly gathered where sewn to the defined nipped waist seam. I'm 5'4" and this comes to the bottom of my calf. It may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height. Zips up the left side with an 10-1/2" metal zipper. Unlined.

CONDITION: Good - no snags, picks, stains, rips, discoloration, or fading. Issues are four 1/8" diameter holes on the front and back bicep area of the right sleeve (photo above) which blend into the fabric and are barely noticeable. I did not notice the holes until I was measuring the dress, however, this has been taken into consideration with the pricing.

SIZING: No size tags are present. Based on the measurements, I'd say this dress would best fit a modern size Small.
