Gorgeous 1940s day to cocktail hour dress.

Medium weight deep black crepe fabric with pink rayon ribbed faille accents as described below.

High vee neckline and short cap sleeves cut as part of the bodice.

Darted crossover bodice accented with an appliqued "crest" in pink faille embellished with prong set rhinestones and hand beading done with faux pearls and iridescent white and purple beads as pictured.

The neckline has pink faille piping and the inside of the front and back neckline is backed with pink faille.

Nipped waist with defined waist seam.

The skirt features a beautiful left front drape accented with pink faille piping.

The back of the drape is lined with black satin and the bodice and skirt are unlined.

Belt loops, but no belt.

I'm 5'4" and this comes to my lower calf. It may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height. There is a 13" tall center back inverted walking pleat.

Does up with a 6-1/2" center back metal zipper at the back neckline and a 11-1/2" left side metal zipper. This does not open on the front.
