Did you know? Cat eye style eyeglasses truly did start in the 40s (just watch the old "Miracle on 34th St") There's a way you can tell the difference and these are from that period. They are bronzy metallic BROWN, but they may look purple on you monitor! Top frames, so all needed is glass Rx or make them sunglasses. Restored, not 100% perfect. The nose pieces were made of horn back then and you may need new ones, but these aren't chipped or cracked. Bow ends may need changing too even though they are not bent out of shape (shown) Lovely hand etching done on front & on bows. Aurora Rhinestones too. Sturdy composition By Bausch & Lomb. Check all pics. Will include hard case (not vintage).
