1940s blue velvet dressing gown by  . Bodice is somewhat fitted and has dropped shoulders and 3/4 length sleeves.  There is a partial metal zip front closure.  Very nice condition with some wear commensurate with age.  I didn't note any fading or staining, just some scattered pinholes and a mend near the hem.  At some point someone altered it to make it smaller by taking it in at center back.  No fabric was cut, they just inserted a wide dart.  This can be let out to gain quite a bit of room.  See last photo for photo of this taken from the inside.  Scarf at waist is shown for styling purposes only (not included).  There are no belt loops on this.
