WOW! Just amazing wartime 1940s dress! Buttons on the side so our our boys and girls OVER THERE could have all the zippers! Perfect drape, really a very quality made dress. Durable rayon jersey, tiny shoulder pads- pictures say it all. This style is about as flattering as it gets. A little big for my size 8 dressform- but it's homemade so make sure you compare the measurements with something you own as they might not be standard. Fine condition, maybe a little stress on the seams but nothing looks like it's going to run? Hips should be looser than you think on this dress so the buttons sit flat, if it's too tight it's not going to work- it's gotta just skim the hips.

All that's missing is a grease pencil seam up the back of your legs! Really a work of art and a piece of history, the small seams, careful styling so not to waste, plus like all 40s fashion, COMFORT.
