40s Black Wool Crepe Nailhead Studded Peplum Suit$325.00
Fabricated in Black wool crepe Jacket only fully lined in black rayon lining Strong padded shoulder Jacket snaps with a single concealed snap at the neck and two covered buttons through bound buttonholes on the opposite side. Lapels embellished with prong set nailheads on both the face and the reverse so the jacket can be worn buttoned or unbuttoned. Long sleeves with turned back cuff detail Skirt is unlined Fastens with an extended tab waistband at center back w/ a button through a bound buttonhole and a concealed hook and eye inside. There is a concealed metal toothed Conmar zipper down center back with two hooks and threadloops to secure the overlap and hide the zipper. A beautifully draped peplum is set into the waistband, it’s edges embellished with nailheads. 9” Long side slit at the hem Hem finished with a rayon hem tape. ( The original hem is very wide and has been folded up an additional 1 3/4”. Interior seams finished with marrow Maker: unknown Condition: very good. Some of the nailheads finishes have dulled. I have spotted just one small nailhead missing from the outer ring to the circle at the wearer’s back right hem. Clean and ready to wear. Looks to best suit a Medium, but please use measurements below.
