Late 1930s/1940s black net gown by Carolyn.  Bodice has a shirred sweetheart neckline with twin spaghetti straps.  One shoulder features faux flowers and a net scarf that trails behind.  Shaped waistline of fuchsia velvet snaps behind the waist.  Dress is lined in an acetate type of material for opacity. Netting extends past the lining at hem.  The spaghetti straps have are knotted over the shoulders so it looks like they could be lengthened slightly if desired.  Dress closes with a side metal zipper. Excellent condition!  I didn't note anything aside from very minor wear.
