Professional construction with a New York Creation label. The hat is done in a bold black wool felt, styled as a tam with a halo rise and beautiful structure. The intended fit is as shown at the rear crown of the head. Hair or hat pins are suggested to help secure the hat in place.

Condition is listed as excellent. The hat is gorgeous with all original blocking and shape retained. The wool is bold inky black with not so much as a peck or nibble to the surface. There is just a hint of residue noted at the interior grosgrain ribbon, this is not visible when worn. Presentation is perfect.
