This pretty 1940s gown may be a wounded bird but still has some life left in it. The silvery-blue silk almost has an ombre look to it. Could be worn as is or revamped into a piece with tulle or lace overlaid. There is some boning to the bodice to add structure. There is a bit of structure to the base as well because a thick cotton backing has been added to the hem inside the garment (12th photo). There is no tag. Dress zips up side with metal zipper. Best fits size Small. Model is modern size 4/6.

Fair vintage condition - Still presents beautifully, but there is some overall wear. Color fade and minor marks/ wear to the fabric. Silk/ Taffeta is crushed in some places. Sold as is but still beautiful!
