40s/50s Vtg Red Orange Clear Carved Plastic Cicada Brooch

Color is between a red and a dark orange depending on the light. Looks like bakelite but it did not test positive.

Measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches.

It has the C clasp with a round hinge closing.

The only condition is corrosion on the fastening mechanism which you can see in the photographs.
