This is a truly unique vintage late 1940's to early 1950's two-piece skirt suit made by the one and only "Lilli Ann". You can see it worn in a Lilli Ann ad from 1952 by the fabulous Dorian Leigh. The original description reads "Finest Wool Rep. Bead Elaboration" It cost around $90 which is equivalent to $1,013 today! It is made of a deep olive green 100% virgin wool gabardine fabric. It features white seed bead clusters on the neckline, collar and cuffs. The jacket has a wide dagger collar, split neckline, 3 button front with tight nipped in waist, and long sleeves with incredible oversized cuffs. The front slash pockets are REAL POCKETS! The skirt has a high fitted waist with a curvy pencil cut, a back kick pleat and a metal side zipper closure with a button and two hidden snaps. The jacket is fully lined, and the skirt is partially lined through the waist and hips in a crepe- possibly silk. This is a very special vintage designer piece that is perfect for fall and winter!

Jacket Measures: 39" bust, 31" waist, 24 1/2" long, 24 1/2" long sleeves, 15 1/4" shoulder to shoulder across the back
Skirt Measures: 28" waist, 40" hips, 31" long.
Very Good wearable condition, Excellent seam and fabric integrity, there is some fading and discoloration to the lining, there are some randomly scattered moth nibbles, most are just surface scuffs that do not go through, 4 that are through the fabric are pinhole size, the largest being on the bottom of the skirt measuring 1/16" by 1/8". They do not detract from the garment, and it presents beautifully! I tried to capture each imperfection, please view all photos.
