This is an exquisite vintage late 1940's sweater dress made by iconic "Snyderknit Sportswear, California". It is made of inky black, hand loomed boucle knit. It features a scoop neckline, short sleeves and wide hip pockets. It has satin button studs and beaded embellishments along the neckline and pockets. It has a below the knee length sweep with princess seams and a sexy curve hugging fit. It is incredibly well made with mesh backing on all the embellishments and black taffeta lining in the pockets. This is not your average little black dress, it is sleek, dark and sexy! This is a very special vintage piece, and it is in a hard to find larger size!

Measures: 40" - 52" bust, 33" - 42" waist, 41" - 49" hips, 42 1/2" long shoulder to hemline, 8 1/2" long sleeves, 14" - 20" sleeve openings
Excellent condition with minor cosmetic flaws, Excellent seam and fabric integrity, no fading, holes, stains. It is missing some of the satin button studs and a line of about 7 bugle beads on the left shoulder. There are enough satin studs in other places to relocate them to the front to make it complete if you desire. It does not appear to have been worn much if at all.
