40s/50s Two Tone Brown Gabardine Western Pearl Snap Shirt$135.00
If you love that old, distressed rockabilly-cowboy look, look no more!
This classic Western style shirt comes in a medium weight woven gabardine wool fabric in two tones of brown; chocolate and tan. It had full length sleeves with off white piping, edging the wing-tip yokes, cuffs and smile pockets at chest. The collar is narrow but slightly elongated, has a nape button closure (only seen on shirts that pre-date the 1960's) and the coveted 'pearl' snaps in Ivory, adorn the center front and cuff closures. It's worth noting that the thread used throughout the construction of shirt -and noticeable within the overlock stitching- is a contrasting, light blue color. The only label is thread-bare and faded, therefor unreadable. Overall condition is good, very strong for wear, but with many noticeable signs of wear; a small, light oil stain at left sleeve, scattered light brown stains at inner right sleeve, a light stain at collar as well as upper snap placket (stains were lifted but left lightened areas), and some lightening to fabric/discoloration throughout -please review photographs for full details.
