Wonderful vintage 1950s dress and jacket in camel colored rayon with beading in copper, silver and white. Jacket is a tailored New Look style with padded shoulder, a Peter Pan collar, 3/4 length sleeves and matching fabric covered buttons. The dress has a wide neckline with very interesting detail, tiny slits at the shoulders and a side metal zipper. There are thread loops for a belt. Both jacket and dress are unlined. Label reads: Original Franklin Chicago.
Excellent vintage condition. I spotted a couple pinholes on the dress near the zipper and thats it. The jacket has some discoloration and what looks like mild watermarks around the shoulders from I suspect the wool shoulder pads getting wet at some point. And a bit more like around the sleeve cuffs.
