This stunning beauty is a 40s, most likely, ice skating costume that is made of soft cotton and is covered in hand-applied blue and white sequins and seed beads. The top of the costume is made of a light teal blue. The costume has a V-ed neckline and is long-sleeved with wonderful (Bishop?) Sleeves. The cuff of the sleeves has tiny little zippers to fit the wrist. The blue ends at the bust and the rest of the costume is white and covered in white iridescent sequins. The waist is fitted to the start of the hips where the skirt starts to flare out and becomes a skater-style skirt that is so fun and swishy. The costume has a large metal zipper up the back and a hook and eye at the neck for closure. The costume is unlined and the stitching for the sequins can be seen and get snagged easily on anything, so be careful.

Condition:
The costume is in wonderful condition with only a few small flaws. There are a few spots where there are missing sequins. The worst is a small spot on the waist but it is hard to notice. The other sequins have been secured around it to prevent further loss. The costume has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
