After the war, expansion bracelets were all the rage--boys gave them to their sweethearts, parents to their daughters. And Parco was one of the best makers ... and this is one of their very best bracelets, mint condition and in its original burgundy velvet gift box. The happy recipient probably thought it was too special to wear; it seems rarely to have seen light of day.
You can change that.
There are three rows of clean, bright rhinestones: oblong in the middle, round on each side. They sparkle and flash gorgeously, especially in lamp- and candlelight. The metalwork is bright silver tone.
The bracelet, as noted, is as fresh as on the day it was made. The box is almost as good. There is a brown spot (age-related?) on top of the column that holds the bracelet. The outside is in remarkably good shape, but there are a few little dents to the velvet, as happens over the years.
Still, this piece is in fantastic condition for the age--for any age!
Coming to you from a smoke-free, pet-friendly environment.
