This type of vintage "plastic" was known as vegetable ivory. From the tagua nut, it's a product made from the very hard white endosperm of the seeds of certain palm trees. Dyed and carved. New ear clips were added. They are comfy clips that do not pinch. So consider them restored! Fun Holiday colors too (that includes Valentines Day). Super retro. Will come in a gift box.
