Vintage Irma Hill 50s Black Dress with Rhinestone Buttons and Neck Tie
Vintage size 24 1/2: Measurements of dress, allow room for comfort: 50" bust, 41" waist, 54" hips. 47.5" total length, 17" shoulder, 18.5" sleeve, 18" bodice - Model is 5'8" XS so this was not a good fit on this size. Unknown material, I see an ad for Irma Hill from this era that states "worsted wool" but this does not feel soft to the touch like a worsted wool suit I have. My guess is rayon but not certain.
Flaws: there is some cream stitching at inside seams which makes me think the dress was altered at the waist, see photo of inside of dress.
