Add a funny little conversation piece to any outfit, with this odd handmade pin in the Modernist style...

This strange pin had me as soon as I found it. What is it supposed to be? A fish? A flute? A tall basket of reeds? What do you see? The metal is fairly heavy, so my first guess was maybe pewter. It is unmarked and unsigned. It is in excellent condition, with no flaws to note and only some mild tarnish to the area near the clasp closure at back. Please review photographs for full details.
