Tie bar - tie clip - tie clasp. Call it what you will.

The art glass stone used here was straight from an old jewelry factory, destined for a tie clip but it never made it. Until now. So the glass stone is 40s/50s and the alligator clip is a recent-day finding. Fascinating piece of oblong molded glass that is brown and then blends into moonstone glass in the center and then blends back into brown. Very cool. Two black (vintage) baguettes at the ends. The (not vintage) base is a goldtone alligator clip. Ruler set for size. Will come in a jewelry gift box.
