Are you ready to be pretty in pink?
Play up your inner-femme with this super girly, soft pink lace dress with a super unique neckline. Circa late 1940's to 50's, this dress is ideal for a petite, or shorter waist person. It features a short sleeve bodice with curved, scallop-like neckline shape, detailed with little fabric gathers, dotted with light blue-painted metallic beads! The lining is a pale pink acetate and the shell is a slightly darker, antique shade of pink lace with a floral theme pattern. The skirt is made up of panel or gore sections, created by pin pleating the lace shell. (It's worth noting how soft this dress is!) There is a metal zipper insert at the left side seam (runs nice and smooth!). Overall condition is very good, with many repairs throughout -most unnoticeable. One area of concern is the right shoulder, where the lace has broken a bit, and this repair is somewhat noticeable. Please see photographs for full details (always happy to send more). Only label is an I.L.G.W.U. (union-made) label in one of the skirt seams.
