Rare 1940's hand made in Mexico souvenir belt! This amazing novelty belt features hand painted sombreros and scenic rectangles that depict cactus, houses, people, pottery, and desert with golden rope ties for closure!

Stamped Made in Mexico.

The belt is in very good vintage condition for its age! One of the ties is shorter than the other, perhaps considering adding more rope to that side so they are even.

Measures 44.5" total length, 24" length for the middle with one tie measuring 12.25" and the other tie measuring 8.5" and the rectangles measure 1 7/8" x 2 3/8" and the sombreros measure 2" x 2". To give an idea of fit, my mannequin has a 25.5" waist.
