Get a Dior-inspired 'New Look' without paying a bunch -just like they did back then!

We've had trickle-down designs in fashion, well, forever. Just because you couldn't afford dit doesn't mean you couldn't afford to look LIKE it, and the same theory holds true today. But, even today, the 'New Look' is timelessly classic and synonymous with late 40's to early 50's mentality. This conical shape hat is made of a light-to-medium weight wool felt in ebony black color. Perchad atop the front, near upper point is an elaborate twisted black ribbon with coils of metal that catch little glints in the light -giving a subtle sparkle. Flanking either edge of this embellishment are two wool felt 'ribbons'. When I purchased this hat, there was a black bead-ended hat pin stuck in into it, which I will include with the hat's purchase. The only maker's mark reads ' Glenover, Henry Pollak, Inc. New York' and '100% wool'. The overall condition is near mint with little to no signs of wear. Please review photographs for full details.
