One of the most stunning vintage bathing suits I have ever seen and also in amazing deadstock condition by beloved vintage swimwear designer Brigance for Sinclair! Black and white checkered pattern with a beautiful bullet bra, smocked back, cute little tie at the waist and adjustable straps. Material in the bra is in great condition and is not shedding or having any issues at all. Elastic on the smocked also super stretchy and in great shape. Looks to be unworn and just placed in storage. Gorgeous and fabulous and a real conversation starter for the beach! Pair with some celluloid vintage sunnies and a wide brimmed hat and your summer uniform is good to go! Can be worn as a bathing suit or a romper. 1950s ILGWU tags. Brigance for Sinclair has been featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art and has somewhat of a cult following for vintage swimwear and this could be considered a museum piece.
