FEATURES: This late 40s' to early 50s' cap beautifully blends two popular features from that era--large front bows and a bird motif in the form of an upturned half-brim wing profile (viewed from the front). There are three satin-covered seams running from front to back, and satin edging along the edge of the brim. The felt body is soft and supple, and that hat is very comfortable on. While not stiffly structured, the construction gives this hat a shape that stays put. It has a flexible fit and can be positioned tilted and toward the front, as shown in the first photo, or set back on the head slightly. The bow is a wonderful 7 1/4" long!

No labels; may have been a custom design, and exceedingly well done.

SIZE: No size label, but should fit a slight range. The circumference around the inside is about 21 1/2". I take a size 22 hat, and this fits me tilted front and side, without a hat pin needed. It would fit a smaller head and perhaps a slightly larger one. If I can find my hat pins, I'll include one.

CONDITION: Mint. I see absolutely no signs of wear.
