Absolutely stunning fuchsia knit dress circa the late 1940s. Long bishop sleeves, and a matching tie belt. Slightly blousey top. Feels like a rayon yarn perhaps. Not wool, and a but too shiny to be cotton, might even be silk or a silk blend. Perfect for fall weather. And that glorious color. Zipper at the back of the neck. I do not believe it is the original zipper as it seems a couple decades later then I believe the dress is and the stitching is not as neat as the rest of the dress. I'd say larger medium to smaller extra-large sized.

Excellent near mint vintage condition. I can't find a thing wrong with it unless you count the replacement zipper.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
This is a knit so there is some give to these.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 40" at rest up to about 53"
Waist: 29" up to about 38"
Hips: 38" up to about 55"
Shoulder to waist: 16"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 44"
