1940s lot of 2 embossed metal castle or estate motif shank buttons with ornate ribbon details. Buttons are black, gold and silver. It's hard to identify the image but appears European to me, a stately residence in a wooded area. Maybe there's snow? Both buttons are in great shape, except the one-button has some scrape marks and small break damage on the back and the shank is a bit loose but still secure (see photos). This damage is not visible from the front of the button.
