Fabulous 40's (or 50s) satin pin up style blouse by Hildegarde of California. Rayon or acetate satin (no tag) is a gorgeous shade of tomato red with lots of sheen! Blouse has a notched keyhole neckline and self covered buttons down the front. Quintessentially 1940's triangular shaped yokes are embellished with rhinestones and clear sequins as is the mandarin style collar. There are pleats over the bust that end at waist level in front and also near the waist in back. Stylish dolman 3/4 length sleeves end in fold back cuffs. This is a one of a kind piece, but it does have some wear: dimples in the fabric texture, slight lightening under the arms, (these could possibly disappear with a dry cleaning), a scratch below the waist (no holes), please see last photo, these are shown in order under the photo of the label. Hard to see because the satin is so shiny. Very wearable as is, but not perfect, be aware. This amazing blouse has true rockabilly and Hollywood bombshell Va Va Voom charm!
