1940's Rare and Collectible JORUES Plastic Clutch

Designed in Faux Tortoiseshell

During WWII many Materials were being Utilized Overseas and Plastic was a Great Alternative for Handbags and Womens Accessories. This handbag is made of linked plastic squares and leather. It opens with a metal zipper and a lucite chain pull in the faux tortoise color. It is lined in brown and there is one slide pocket inside. This is to give you some history of how this type of handbag was created. This particular Lovely was designed by Joures as stated on the label with a U. S. Patent No. 2318694.

This lovely clutch will hold any size Cell Phone you have plus your other necessaries.

Near MINT CONDITION - This Lovely Clutch is in Near MINT Condition. It looks almost like it just came out of a Specialty Store in the 1940's. The is a very small wear spot near the zipper (see the 8th photograph). That is the only reason it is not qualified as MINT condition. What a Wonderful piece to add to Your Wardrobe!
