Lovely 1940's orange wool window pane plaid 49er style jacket. This is a great color combo that I haven't seen very often! Orange, tan and blue! The wool will keep you nice and warm.

It is so 1940's with the boxy cut, big front buttons and light shoulder pads!!

This jacket is in very good vintage condition - remember, it is about 75 years old, so some wear and tear is going to be normal. See photos for a small hole on the back shoulder, about the size of a pinhead. There are also a couple spots (white circles) where there have been repairs. None of these flaws are very noticeable. I could not find any major stains, tears, holes, or other flaws.

The jacket is not fully lined - only on the top back. Also, there is no tag. So I do not know the brand, but it is made in the style of the 49er Pendleton jackets.

Measurements taken lying flat:

Bust: 40"

Shoulders: 14. 5" (measured across back, seam to seam)

Length: 25"

Sleeves: 5" shoulders, 21" sleeve = 26" from collar to cuff.
