1940s pink skirt suit set. Much better than it appears in the pictures. the fabric looks like linen but may be rayon.

the trim is set in, not "on top" and is peak-a-boo

Top is a peplum style with floral lace cream colored details.

Condition set is wearable but there a number of small faint stains. There are several areas on the top and skirt that have stains as pictured. Belt buckle has some minor wear. these are "oxidation" stains, which come from age.
