This 1940s bag was made to carry knitting and comes with two knitting needles (the needles are not vintage). It can also make a great handbag/purse. The body of the bag is pale pink satin damask and the handles are brown resin. The fabric part of the bag is 16" wide and 13" high. The resin handles are 4. 5" high, so the full height of the bag is 17. 5". It is flat, with no gussets. The bag is unlined and there are no tags, so it may have been hand made. There are stains on one side that look like they were made by liquid and two very small tears near the stain - see image. There is slight scuffing to the handles.
