Lovely navy blue rayon fit and flare dress. Circa late 1940s.

The fabric is a medium weight navy satin backed blue rayon with a lovely sheen as pictured.

Princess seamed fitted bodice and nipped natural waist for a flattering fit.

The collar and sleeve ends are accented with black velvet ribbon threaded through black lace trim as pictured.

Dropped waist with a decorative flange covering the seam where the skirt is sewn to the bodice.

Lovely eight panel skirt for a flirty 100" bottom sweep.

I'm 5'4" and the skirt comes to my mid calf, but may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height.

Does up the center back with a 20" long metal zipper.

Unlined. No pockets

DESIGNER LABEL: There are no labels present. This may have been handmade by a skilled seamstress or tailor

CONDITION: Excellent ~ There is no discoloration, fading, snags, picks, holes, stains, rips, or other issues. The only thing is a slight storage odor which will come out with a dry cleaning.

SIZING: There is no size tag. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this dress would best fit a modern size Small.
