Fabulous 40s satin liquid gold pin up style blouse by Wm. M. Perry Design. Rayon or acetate satin (no tag) is a gorgeous shade of light metallic gold with lots of sheen! Blouse has a dagger collared V neck and self covered Art Deco buttons with copper metal centers, down the front. Top button can be fastened to create a Peter Pan collar, see 5th and 6th photo. Quintessentially 1940s blouse has shoulder pads and large pockets over the bust. There are pleats at the waist that create a nipped in hourglass shape. Set in wide sleeves gather into one button cuffs. The width of the cuff buttoned is 6.5”, but the button could be moved an inch, up to 7.5”.
