Delicious black straw topper curvette hat circa 1940s or so. Curves round the head with an opening on top. Woven straw over a mesh form. Has an attached birdcage veil that hangs long down both sides to then tie under the chin, giving it a bonnet look as well. There is velvet ribbon trim at the ends of the veiling. Measures about 11" from ear over the head to the other ear, but it seems this is one size fits most. Label reads: None.

Excellent vintage condition. There is one area of the straw that's come a little loose, could be easily glued down if it bothers you. The veiling is fine.
