This most unusual floral velvet dress has some problems. This fabric is amazing. A plush floral velvet!

First, side metal zipper was replaced with "invisible" zipper that was hand sewn in! It may have had sleeves, but the person who altered it must have removed them and very badly hand sewed the shoulders, which were all bunched up. I took it to seamstress and shoulders are better, but the armholes are really small. (mannequin is size 8 and it was too big for the dress) So what you have left is the possiblity of a wonderful full skirt in this plush cotton velvet rose print, or replace zipper and wear, if the size is right! The label shows age, made by Jobi. It was also dry cleaned a while ago (when I had a reliable dry cleaner!)There may be yellowing left but it's easily removed with some spray bleach (oh yes I did). Some fade under one arm (shown). All in all, with a few fixes, it has potential to be a cute dress for the holidays.
