This vintage 1940s corde clutch handbag is showing its age, but could be rescued with a little TLC! It's a good size bag, crocheted with an unpatterned central rectangle, surrounded by a frame of small square motifs that each have crocheted circles in the center. The zipper pull is topped off by a long narrow loop of corde.

SIZE: 13" x 10" x 1.5"

FABRIC/COLORS: Cocoa brown corde. Lined in brown jaquard, probably acetate.

CLOSURES: Closes with a 9" metal zipper that is partially sprung - the 7" of it is still functional, but you may want to replace the zipper.

CONDITION: As mentioned above, part of the zipper is wonky. Also, there are some small areas of patchy color fading, and new owner may want to consider a dye job - hence the friendly price.
