Gorgeous cold rayon chocolate brown with abstract print button up blouse with peplum. Circa 1940s.

This is a beautifully made and very feminine blouse.

The front and back feature vertical darts at the front and back waist seam for a flattering fit.

Double layered self fabric rounded peplum with diagonal front pockets accented with self covered flaps and buttons as pictured.

Notched collar as pictured. Unlined.

Bracelet length sleeves with turn back cuffs feature small interior shoulder pads for shape.

Does up the center front with three 5/8" diameter self fabric covered buttons.

Comes with it's original buckle belt to fit different waist sizes.

DESIGNER LABEL: None - this appears to be the work of a skilled seamstress or tailor.

CONDITION: Excellent with no issues at all - no pills, stains, discoloration, fading, rips, holes, or tears. Gently worn and very well cared for.

The only thing is a slight storage odor which will come out with a dry cleaning.

SIZING: There is no size tag. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Large.

Shoulders: 15-1/2" Across

Outer Sleeves: 18" - (includes 2-1/8" turn back cuffs)

Inner Sleeves: 11-1/2"

Bust: 40"

Waist: 32-1/2"

Bottom of peplum: 40" around

Length: 23" - includes 7-3/4" wide peplum - Top of Shoulder to Hem
