Body is a black felt skull cap with a front panel of felt and grosgrain ruffle. Attached at the back is a thick veiling which comes to the front and can be worn down on the face or up on the crown. Interior is finished with a narrow black grosgrain ribbon along with an elastic placement band.

The only condition issue is the veiling. There is a large hole on the crown, right side and a small one in the front near the edge. It could easily be removed or replaced.

Inner circumference is 21 inches. Measuring on the outside, side to side is 12 inches and front to back is 13 inches.
