1940's Ivory and Black Strapless Gown

ivory with black swirl pattern organdy organza

beautiful ruched bust

wide black satin band with oversized black satin bow

3 layers of fabric make up the skirt= outer / ivory satin/ Crinoline

boned top -2 front 2 back one side with no zipper

ribbon measures 4 1/2" center front / 5 3/8" on sides

bow is 13 1/2" across x 26 1/2" longest tail

15" under arm back

12 1/2" waist

8" under arm to waist

45" length from waist to hem

14" side zipper

approximately 175" around bottom of skirt hem

noted damage- if you look at last photo the front bodice is where the clip is showing there ia a small hole that would be covered when the ruching is in place- I did not flatten the fabric so it may be visible in photos- also the hemline is also showing in that photo- I pulled dit up so both areas are ing the shop- this is on the right front hemline. There are also a few small stains- may be rust long lower front left seam about 7" up from hem.
