RARE Couture 1970's / '1940s Style' Peignoir Aqua Jewel Tone / Robin's Egg Blue - 100% Silk with Ostrich Feathers - by 'Juel Park' of Beverly Hills

This has to be one of THE MOST EXQUISITE and RARE pieces I have ever had in all the 10 + years of having my shop!!

A 40's Revival peignoir set by legendary couture lingerie designer to the stars, Juel Park

Most likely from the early 1970s when that era made a strong comeback!

Anything from Juel Park is an iconic collector's piece and this designer's collection has been featured in exhibits at FIT in New York and shown at high-end boutique, 'Resurrection' in New York and West Hollywood.

So well made!

The peignoir has a few scattered spots that may lift with professional cleaning (I didn't feel comfortable to work on the stains myself)  The spots are extremely light which are very hard to notice under the folds and flow of the garment and in some particular lighting. They remain mostly hidden because of where they are located  (behind the feathers, light water stain on back and one on the inside of the peignoir - see photo collage)

BUST - 18" (laid flat across top of bodice - armpit to armpit)   /  17" (across seam beneath bodice)

STRAPS - 14" (approx) / 1. 5" allowance sewn inside

WAIST - 18" (approx - measurement taken across from bottom stem of the rose)

HIPS - 22" (measured 7" down and across from stem of the rose)

LENGTH 13" (from top of strap to bottom seam of bodice  /  42. 5 from top of bodice seam to bottom hem of gown)
