40’s/50’s Red Multicolor Diagonal Plaid Tie Neck Peplum Blouse

Vintage, handmade blouse with on-trend pouf sleeves, peplum hem, and high neck with built-in tie. Flattering horizontal stripes that form an inverted v. The material is satin like, though there are no labels indicating the actual material used. Made in the late 1940’s to early 1950’s. Appears to be homemade, though well made. Has snap closures and a thin tie at neck line.

If you look closely, you can see stitch marks and fabric imperfections, as shown in photos. Not really noticeable when worn.

Measurements taken flat: Shoulder width 14″, Armpit to armpit 15″, Waist 12″, and Hip (peplum) 15″.
