Made of flexible gold metal mesh, these “belt buckle” earrings, circa late 1940s or early 1950s, are tongue-in-cheek chic! They have clip-on backs. In very good condition, one of the pair (on the left in our side-by-side photos) has some wiggle to the belt “prong”, while the other is still soldered and does not move. This is unlikely to be noticed when the earrings are worn.
