50s formal gown in dusty rose pink. Beautiful muted color! Sheer chiffon with lace. The dress is a size large by today's standards but was originally a "half-size" made for a shorter, plumper figure. Elegant movie-star glamour from the 1940's - 50s. Lovely as a prom or wedding gown, ballgown, or bridesmaid dress.

- label - none found - belt is marked (size) 16 1/2

- condition - Excellent. At some point, there were straps to hold the lining bodice in place, but these are not attached to the front anymore. Slight yellowing at the underarm in the lace. The dress may need to be steamed to get the lace to lay in the right direction.
