Fantastic vintage black dress circa 1940s or 50s. Its a bit small for my dress form so I've pinned it to show its shape. Black shot through with gold threads. Above the elbow length dolman sleeves that are gathered and ruched all along the seams, metal zipper on the side. Scoop neck, no kick pleat. No Label. This dress is still very cute but does have one issue, thus being in my scratch and dent section. Please see below.

Good to great vintage condition. There really is only one reason why this dress is in my Scratch and Dent section and that is the rather large hole at the back of the left shoulder. Its about the size of a silver dollar. It could, however, be patched with something and perhaps hidden cleverly but it wont ever be totally invisible, I don't think. I've included a photo of it. If you don't mind about it, or could use it for a costume or photo shoot or upcycle it, then this is a really good deal. :) Other than that hole I really haven't seen any other issues.

Armpit to armpit across bust: 38" this is a dolman sleeve so there's some flexibility here.

Shoulder to waist: 14. 5"

Shoulder to bottom hem: 41"
