the style, fabric and cut of this dress are amazing and it represents the glam era of Hollywood that made me fall in love with vintage.

asymmetrical peplum gives this alluring dress a great silhouette. back zip closure, with hooks/snap to close the peplum. it had a metal zipper that I had to have replaced but I used a vintage zipper that is also metal but not as wide. soft boning on the sides of the bodice. Beading in a starburst pattern on the one pocket and at the lapels

the fabric is very soft and luxe.

checking closely for any flaws: the kickpleat has come undone; an easy fix (see pics) and also there is a small spot under one of the lapels (so it doesn't show) that needs reinforcement, about an inch, another easy fix and lastly, the "eye" part of the hook and eye at the top of the zipper is missing. it was probably done with thread, another simple fix. also some of the beads on the pocket are dinged a bit. they appear to be enamel over metal. price reflected
