From the 1950's this vintage Lorraine Quality Lingerie knee-length robe is a bright red nylon with a typical 50's Peter Pan collar floral trim at one shoulder plus on the front pocket and front buttons. With a classic A-line shape and sweetly feminine design this red nylon vintage Lorraine robe will fit you beautifully and the bright red color will brighten your evenings and make your morning coffee taste even better (well maybe that last point is a tiny exaggeration).

Although the size is shown as Medium remember that sizing has changed so much over the years. This robe was typical of the 1950's when styles called for slimmer fitting garments so I think it will fit a modern woman more like a size Small.

So easy to wear the nylon fabric has a figure-forgiving shape. Note that there are front darts at each shoulder which eliminate the need to have this fabric gathered at the yoke.

The label simply reads "Lorraine Quality Lingerie Medium RN 34452".

Because this was made long before laundry instructions were required there are none. However this nylon is machine washable and can either be hung to dry or be tumbled dry. That is what I did and this robe will arrive at your door clean and ready to wear.

Collectors of vintage lingerie know that Lorraine garments have their own distinct look and they also appreciate the quality of their nylon fabric.

Four front buttons close up the front and those buttons are intact.

For this classic Lorraine robe I can report it is in Excellent Vintage condition.

As can be seen in the photos there is very little evidence of prior wear.

I do not find any snags in the fabric there are no stains odors or holes. All seams are intact and the hem is complete.
