This is a set of vintage oval platters that range in size. All are white with double dark green stripes. All have scratches from use, and flea bites and specks in areas that would have occurred during the production process. Any other issues are noted below.

The set includes:

A small platter that is 7 ½” long, 5” wide, and 1” high. It is marked “Shenango China New Castle, PA.”

A platter that is 9 ¼” long, 6 ½” wide, and 1” high. It is marked “Mayer China Est. 1881.”

A platter that 11 ½” long, 8 1/8” wide, and 1 ½” high. It is marked Buffalo China USA (with a raised buffalo animal logo, not the word Buffalo). It has some yellowing on the edges.

A platter that is 12 ¼” long, 8 ¾” wide, and about 1 ½” high. It is marked “Buffalo China 8-10 Made in USA.” It has more yellowing on the edges and other places than the other platters.

Restaurant ware is generally heavier and more durable than china that was produced for the home.
