With its original Texsheen Lingerie paper hang tags still attached, this 1960's vintage pastel blue full length nylon robe is size Small. Made by the Russell Newman Manufacturing Co. in Denton, Texas this is a lovely soft nylon fabric. Blue lace and tiny floral appliques accents the yoke and there is a flat row of blue lace at the sleeve cuffs. Seven blue Plastic buttons line the front and there is one hidden side pocket.

The label reads "Texsheen Lingerie 100% Nylon Exclusive of Decoration, RN 16073, Small, Style 6857, Made in USA" and includes washing instructions to show this is machine washable in warm water and can be tumbled dry.

Because this has a paper hang tag still attached, I have not laundered it as I would normally do with vintage garments.

A price tag shows $13 as the original retail cost. That was the 1960's value and in today's relative value, with the inflation factored in over the decades, that original cost would be over $100.

It has a single layer of nylon fabric. I do not find any snags or discolorations in the fabric. There are no holes, snags or odors, all seams are intact, the hem is complete, and this comes to you from a pet-free, smoke-free home.
